Synclaire Cruel a Digital Strategist at Duke University and correspondent for The Triangle Tribune, thought it would be a great to feature me in an article for their Black Business Month series. The Triangle Tribune is a central voice for the African American community throughout North Carolina. As a result, she reached out to my dad for permission to interview me, and he agreed.
We talked about what motivates me, my Goddess Unleashed Course, my Cape Up and Celebrate Book Launch Tour, and much more on July 23, 2024. I’m not sure how my dad ended up in the photo since he didn’t participate in the interview. Ms. Synclaire did ask him a few follow-up questions, like where my books can be found and how he felt when I gave him Everyday Heroes as a Father’s Day gift. I guess I’ll let him join me in the VIP section because of that.
